It's a short read, just a taste of a bigger story I'm hoping to publish down the road.

I also am craving critiques, all the good and the bad! Please let me know what you think, leave a review on either retailer site, or even shoot me a DM or email.

This novella is classified as Young Adult. There are some violent combat scenes as well as mild hints of sexual content and alcohol use.

IT'S TIME FOR PIRATES TO TAKE BACK WHAT IS THEIRS

Captain Johnson Harline is a young, adventurous, and somewhat mad pirate captain. His best friend and First Mate Fernando Pistola is just as adventurous but a bit more level-headed and calculating. The two have had some wild adventures together.

In this tale, the two lead their crew to the trade port city of Nassau. It had been sacked and sieged by the Followers of the dark witch of the seas, but this Captain, First Mate, and their crew are determined to get it back in the name of the Pirate Affinity.

The world is riddled with lost cursed objects and weapons called Sirens that could grant a wielder unforetold abilities. Pirates and Followers alike had grown hungry for Sirens and their power, but wielding them comes at a heavy cost. Nassau is rumored to have a large cache of them hidden somewhere, and Johnson and Fernando wonder if that cache will help them win back Nassau. . . or make them lose it forever.

On top of it all, Captain Johnson protects a power far beyond any Siren: The Fallen Star. It’s a power that he and Fernando hope to never have to use. They’d give their lives to protect it.

The real wild tale belongs to The Fallen Star, and Johnson and Fernando know it.

From debut author Andi May comes a swashbuckling, adventurous, fantastical, and heroic novella of plundering pirates and intrigue. A prequel.

May no seas fare smooth.
